Let me tell you what Journey Along is all about!

My name is Sharell, the owner of this site. I initially started Journey Along to talk about adjusting to my new life in New York City after moving from Louisiana, where I was born and raised, but it has become so much more with my love for travel. My goal is to help as many people as I can by releasing the fear of traveling and seeing the world more.

Traveling can be very therapeutic. Exploring different places and connecting with different cultures opens you up to great possibilities and enriches the mind, which has happened personally to me and I want the same for everyone!  Besides telling stories of my crazy adventures, I also want to let you guys know all the deals to save on travel as well!
