Black Boy Art Show ~
A recent Black Boy Art Show took place on June 13th in Brooklyn, New York. I’m pretty sure it was amazing, and I wish I could have attended that exciting event, which takes place at different locations across the United States. However, these pictures below are from their art show from last year in Brooklyn. It was the first time I was introduced to this exquisite, vibrant expression of all Black art. As Denzel said, “I’m leaving here with something,” is what I said to myself. Haha! The amount of art that captured my eyes, I wanted to buy everything because I’m such an art lover.
The event took place at the Brooklyn Navy Yard and featured 100-plus Black male artists from across the country. It had immersive art, visual storytelling, live performances, and food trucks for food and drinks. If you are looking to attend the largest global celebration of Black male artists, check out their website, which I have provided for more information. I believe their next event is in Charlotte on November 21, 2026. Almost forgot to mention, they have a sibling: Black Girl Art Show! I went to that one as well and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Check out that article soon!
