Blue Fin ~

I had lunch with a colleague on Monday at the Blue Fin Seafood and Sushi restaurant.  Recently, I went to Cecil Steakhouse in Harlem to try their $42 dinner menu for “Restaurant Week”, so I had to find somewhere to try the $26 lunch menu and Blue Fin was the choice.

We chose the “Sweet Shrimp and Spicy Salmon” and “Slow Braised Pork Belly Bao Buns” for appetizers, and the “Spicy Crispy Chicken Bowl” and “Rigatoni and Braised Short Ribs for our entrées. We also paid an additional $7 for their “Valrhona Milk Chocolate Mousse”. All the items were delicious, but the chicken was a little overcooked. It could have been more tender. The restaurant looked great, and our server Amine attended to us quite well. It was not busy during the time we were there. I was surprised since it’s located right in the heart of Time Square in Manhattan; but hey, I don’t like crowded places anyway, so it was excellent!

If you are looking to go to this restaurant, here is their website: https://www.bluefinnyc.com/

Today was the last day for Restaurant Week so you won’t find the $26 menu anymore. Try to catch it next time! https://www.nycgo.com/restaurant-week
