Boston ~

I’ve never been to Boston before, so I decided to take a brief road trip there this past Halloween.  I can tell you that staying for one day was not enough to see what all this city has to offer; however, I did discover quite a bit.  I stayed at a hotel located in a town called Brookline,  part of the greater Boston area and the birthplace of President John F. Kennedy. I didn’t know that fact until after I left. A real bummer I didn’t get to see his house. Hopefully next time I will get a chance.

Brookline was lovely and had great restaurants! I named a few below for you to check out, but I do have to warn you about parking. Pay attention to all the street signs and park your car in a garage overnight if you are staying because your car will get towed. There is no street parking after 2 a.m.

I also went to see the Bunker Hill monument, which was erected to commemorate the Battle of Bunker Hill.  It was cool seeing this historical site at night with children running around in their Halloween costumes. Additionally, I tried to see Paul Revere’s House, but could not find it at all using google maps. I kept getting lost and taken off course many times. It was like trying to find treasure, so good luck with that one if you want to visit. The city’s Public Garden was delightful as well with squirrels running around everywhere waiting for you to feed them.

Overall, Boston was enjoyable, but it has too much to explore; therefore I will be back again to wander through one of America’s oldest cities!
