FESTIVALS ~

One great thing about summertime in New York City and its surrounding areas are the numerous festivals that occur almost every week. There is always a festival for something with different types of food, entertainment, and plenty of merchandise to buy. So, make sure you bring enough money. Most vendors only take cash, but there are some that do card transactions as well.

This past weekend, my friend and I attended the GO Africa Harlem Street Festival and the Afro Beat Fest in Newark, New Jersey. They were both great! I didn’t get a chance to taste the food, but I made sure I bought something from each one. I couldn’t resist! Ha ha!
