I haven’t had the opportunity to visit the island of Cuba yet, but I was able to experience something close to it; Little Havana in Miami. Everyone knows there is a large Cuban community in Florida who have brought their culture and ways to add to the flavor of the United States. You would undoubtedly want to check out this area, to give you little of that Cuban experience. There are so many places to see as you stroll down “Calle Ocho,” such as Maximo Gomez Park (Domino Park), art galleries, and busy restaurants to grab a bite while you listen to live music.

Before I left “Calle Ocho,” I made sure to grab a Cuban sandwich, and it was delicious. I haven’t had one in a long time, and it instantly brought back memories for me.

Check out my pictures of my time in Little Havana below and here is a link to check out as well:  https://www.miamiandbeaches.com/
