NOMA ~

Last Sunday along with my sister and niece, I visited the New Orleans Museum of Art; located right in City Park by Carrollton and Esplanade Avenue in New Orleans. I’ve worked, went out plenty of times with friends in the city, and even graduated from the University of New Orleans, but never had I set foot in this museum. I know!  Crazy; however, I finally got a chance to experience it.

It’s a great museum filled with many fantastic art pieces. The prices are reasonable for admission, and there are numerous things to explore so you will need a map. Also, they give you a collector’s bead of NOMA once you have checked in, a New Orlean’s staple item, but while we were there, I must admit some of the staff was rude, but besides that, we enjoyed our time.

If you do stop by, make sure to check out the golden cabin and the third floor. You won’t be disappointed! I didn’t get to see everything because of time, but I will be back. Here are some pictures below:
